The 10 trainers of APMK, ENSA and ANCAR delivered a full training cycle reaching close to 300 farmers during the last weeks. Farmers received in-depth training (practical, classroom and one-on one guidance from the Senegalese trainers. Topics included salinity awareness, measurements and practical ways of mitigation, but also critical practices like rotation and harvest management. Finally important topics of entrepreneurial thinking and market awareness were addresses.
The trainers are truly growing in there role and knowledge transfer capacities. Later this year the Dutch trainers will continue the Training of Trainers program, entering its last year.
