In July 2025, the first series of the coached training program for farmers was successfully launched. For an entire week, ten trainees from the IC project stepped into the role of trainers, guiding fifty farmers through a set of interactive sessions on salinity management. The trainees presented practical strategies and background information to cope with the challenges of salinity in the region.
Throughout the program, the trainees were accompanied by Delphy and the Salt Doctors, who provided supervision and support to ensure that the knowledge shared was both accurate and relevant. The week marked an important step in building a bridge between science and practice, empowering farmers with tools and insights to take better decisions for their fields.
