ANCAR is the national agricultural extension service in Senegal since 1997. The objective of ANCAR is to promote, facilitate and manage agricultural advisory services to enable small producers to sustainably improve productivity. ANCAR’s importance to the onion cluster impact program, is to develop and update agricultural knowledge, to provide trainings themselves in the long run, and to strengthen the linkages along the value chain.
